Benefits of Certification in
Human Resource Management
INTERESTED IN HR CERTIFICATION?
HR Certification is an opportunity for HR professionals to validate their individual expertise in the body of knowledge that is shared within the HR profession. It is also an outward sign of knowledge and professionalism that is recognized by all HR professionals and most employers. Have you thought about taking this next step in your professional HR development? If so, consider the following:
1.) For complete details about the PHR (Professional in Human Resources), SPHR
(Senior Professional in Human Resources) and GPHR (Global Professional in Human Resources) certification process and testing dates, check the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI)’s website at www.hrci.org under “Certification”.
Texas leads the nation in the number of certified professionals! Click here to check it out.
2.) For PHR/SPHR study materials, SHRM provides The SHRM Learning System, updated annually, which covers each tested area of competency, as well as a 1-volume Certification Guide overview. Both are available through SHRM on-line. Participants in the DallasHR study group programs can purchase the SHRM Learning System at a significant discount ($475 plus $18 shipping and handling). Contact the DallasHR offices for more information:

3.) Enroll in the DallasHR sponsored PHR/SPHR group study and review course for a small fee prior
to each test date (which should be supplemented by your own independent outside study). There will be a study group during the eight weeks prior to each exam window. For detailed information, visit the Study Group page.
