The SWPI Masterclass is a highly interactive practitioner based training that will provide participants with the technical foundation, strategies, and solutions to effectively assess, plan, and implement strategic workforce planning initiatives. This two-day course content consists of technical deep-dives accompanied with practical, workforce planning application scenarios to leverage SWP as a competitive advantage. It will give participants the hands-on practice, tools, techniques to build strategic capability in enterprise-wide workforce planning.
During this masterclass training, you will learn:
- To design a strategic workforce planning ecosystem that includes strategy integration, data analysis, cost modeling, current and future state profiling, risk analysis, talent action plans, and implementation
- Your company’s current WFP capabilities and how to best to implement SWP in your enterprise or business unit setting
- Ways to establish leadership commitment, methods for building out a SWP team, and develop implementation and communication project plans
- How to apply the Six-Step Strategy-Driven Workforce Planning and Implementation Model in pilot or enterprise-wide applications
- A framework for analyzing and determining your company’s dominant competitive strategy and its impact on workforce design
- Methods and tactics for a multi-disciplined approach to fully integrate business/workforce planning and HR strategic direction for the firm
- Specific approaches to environmental scanning, job segmentation, and business/HR strategy integration
- The use of scenario analysis in modeling uncertain, competitive environments and their associate workforce implications
- Content, timing and execution methods for conducting qualitative forecasting and developing workforce solutions with line leaders
- Advanced data analytic methods for assessing, forecasting and modeling talent supply and demand
- Workforce cost analysis methods to determine competitive advantage, total cost of workforce and long-term profitability
- Methods and tools to analyze talent/risk gaps between current and future workforce capability needs
- How to prioritize areas of risk and develop targeted action plans to overcome the people barriers to success
- Develop effective metrics to evaluate the impact of workforce planning activities and achievement of organizational results
