An Affordable Care Act Update: The Employer Mandate, Reporting Delays and the Impact of Outcomes-based Wellness Programs on Affordability
Join us for a presentation designed to provide human resource professionals with an overview of the plan design requirements for 2016 under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), a how-to for beginning preparation for the “Cadillac” tax in 2020 and information on the impact of outcomes-based wellness programs on affordability under the ACA. We will also review new benefit delivery systems such as telemedicine services and e-health visits and how these plans are impacted by the ACA and other employee welfare benefits rules.
Participants will learn information necessary to identify required plan design criteria under the Affordable Care Act for 2016 and determine the applicability of outcomes-based wellness programs when calculating affordability of the group health plans.
